acquisitions and disposals were reported by 2030 GMT on Friday:
    
    ** BHP  BHP.AX , the world's biggest miner, would need to
offer a minimum 40% premium over Anglo American's  AAL.L  share
price to make a renewed takeover bid now the rival's value has
been boosted by asset sales, two sources close to the matter

sell its industrial gas supply arm, Coregas, to Japanese
