DTEK ENERGY B.V. RESTRUCTURING 
 
The DTEK ENERGY B.V. group (the "Group") hereby announces that:
 
·    The sanction hearing for the inter-conditional schemes of arrangement in respect of DTEK Energy B.V. and DTEK Finance plc under Part 26 of the Companies Act 2006 (the "Schemes") has taken place on 13 May 2021, following which the High Court of Justice of England and Wales (the "Court") has on 14 May 2021 made orders sanctioning each of the Schemes.
 
·    Copies of the orders of the Court sanctioning the Schemes under Section 899 of the Companies Act 2006 have been delivered to the Registrar of Companies of England and Wales on 14 May 2021, upon which the Schemes have become effective (and such time and date is the 'Scheme Effective Date' for the purposes of the scheme document containing the terms of the Schemes).
 
The Group intends to proceed to implement the restructuring of substantially all of the Group's indebtedness pursuant to the terms of the Schemes on 17 May 2021.
