Wall Street's main indexes struggled for direction on Tuesday as investors
awaited the outcome of the Federal Reserve's monetary policy meeting while
assessing the latest batch of earnings reports.  .N 
    
    At 13:31 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.17% at
32,984.03. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.35% at 4,181.34 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.12% at 12,804.247.
