Wall Street's main indexes struggled to gain on Wednesday as weakness in shares
of Abbott countered gains in Netflix, leaving investors muddled about the
ongoing earnings momentum. .N 
    At 1339 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.82% at
30,272.62. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 1.20% at 3,675.3 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was down 1.44% at 10,616.974.
