"ROAD TO URC"
On Monday, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk will meet with the Prime Minister of Ukraine at the "Road to URC" conference dedicated to Ukraine's reconstruction. Experts attending the conference will also discuss the defense and technology sectors.
TANKS FOR THE POLISH ARMY
On Monday, Poland is expected to sign an agreement with Hyundai Rotem enabling preparatory work for the production of K2PL tanks in Poland. The first tanks in this variant are scheduled to be introduced in the fourth quarter of 2028, PAP news agency reported.
BANK MILLENNIUM
Poland's Bank Millennium MILP.WA is expected to report a first-quarter net profit of 295 million zlotys ($82 million), up nearly 65% from a year earlier, a Reuters poll showed on Friday.
INTEREST RATES
There is currently no need to raise interest rates in Poland and the bank could extend its "wait-and-see" approach for some time, Monetary Policy Council (MPC) member Iwona Duda told Reuters.
