    ECB to publish June data on Italian banks domestic
government bond holdings (0800 GMT).
    
    DEBT
    Treasury to sell 3-3.5 billion euros new 3.10% BTP Short
bonds due Aug. 28, 2026; 0.75-1.25 billion euros 1.50% BTPei
bonds due May 15, 2029; 0.75-1 billion euros 2.55% BTPei bonds
due Sept. 15, 2041.
    Treasury to detail the sale of BTP and CCTeu bonds at
auction on July 30.

    SAIPEM  SPMI.MI 
    The oil service group posted a net profit of 118 million
euros on the first half of a year, a significant increase
compared with to 40 million euros in the first half of 2023. The
company's net cash flow reached 178 million euros.

    ENI  ENI.MI 
    The energy group said it had received formal approval from
the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission to sell
its unit Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC) to the country's
leading energy company OANDO  OANDO.LG .
    The company also said on Wednesday that two new vessels were
ready to leave for the Ivory Coast, starting phase 2 of oil
project Baleine scheduled for December.

    CEO Paolo Gallo said on Wednesday the company was well under
way in the due diligence process for the acquisition of rival 2i
Rete Gas. 
    
    MONCLER  MONC.MI   
    Operating profit at the Italian luxury group beat analysts'
expectations for the first half of the year, thanks in part to
an 11% increase in revenuesthat were lifted by its performance
in Asia.

    EDF's Italian unit and the gas grid operator are expected to
announce on Thursday a deal on gas storage assets with a base
price of nearly 600 million euros ($651 million), two sources
with knowledge of the matter said.
