Idemitsu Maru VLCC tanker attempts to cross the Strait of Hormuz, shipping data shows

TOKYO, April 28 (Reuters) - A Panama-flagged tanker Idemitsu Maru is attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz, shipping data showed on Tuesday. The VLCC tanker is managed by Idemitsu Tanker Co, a unit of Japanese refinery group Idemitsu Kosan 5019.T, according to the LSEG ship tracking data. Idemitsu Kosan declined to comment on individual ships.
