** Australian lithium miners jump after news that Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) 300750.SZ suspended production at major Chinese mine for at least three months

** Liontown Resources LTR.AX gains the most among miners, soaring as much as 25.4%

** Pilbara Minerals PLS.AX, IGO IGO.AX, Mineral Resources MIN.AX jump between 10.4% and 15.8%

** Broader mining index .AXMM up 1.4% at 0056 GMT
