Italy's biggest bank is awaiting by the end of October
preliminary bids for a 1 billion euro portfolio of
unlikely-to-pay loans mostly backed by residential properties it
has put up for sale, Il Sole 24 Ore reported on Saturday, adding
CRC and Bayview were interested, as well as Sweden's Intrum
INTRUM.ST and DK-owned Prelios.

Tabor Asset Management, which holds a 0.4% stake in the
luxury goods group, said on Sunday it had published an open
letter questioning the fairness of a 40 euro per share tender
offer by the Della Valle family to take Tod's private. The offer
undervalues the group and its single brands, the investment firm
said, calling upon Tod's board to work with the Della Valle
family to improve it and investors to reconsider their decision
to tender shares at the current price.
The Della Valle family will fund the offer to take Tod's
private through a 420 million euro loan provided by BNP Paribas,
Credit Agricole CIB and Deutsche Bank against a 49% stake in the
group as guarantee, the offer's prospectus showed.

CEO Remo Ruffini said on Saturday the luxury group was "more
than confident" about its year-end outlook, despite economic,
health and geopolitical uncertainties. Ruffini reiterated that
he would only consider acquisitions within the group's supply
chain while ruling out deals with other brands in the coming
years. He added an increase in selling prices was "inevitable"
due to higher raw material costs.
JUVENTUS JUVE.MI
The Italian top flight soccer club said it would finish the
current financial year in the red after it reported a record
annual loss during its first trophyless season in a decade.
