** The critical minerals miner announces the appointment of James Mactier as an independent non-executive director and chair, effective May 5

** Says Mactier's experience includes 24 years with Macquarie, with 15 years as co-head of its Metals and Energy Capital division, among other roles

** Stock down 29.3% YTD, including current session's moves
