Iluka in talks with Australia government for more support for rare earths refinery, CFO says

SYDNEY, May 8 (Reuters) - Australia's Iluka Resources
 ILU.AX  is in talks with the Australian government for more
support for the Eneabba rare earths refinery in the state of
Western Australia, CFO Adele Stratton said on Wednesday.
    "Unfortunately, I cannot disclose the status of those
discussions and I'm not going to be drawn on precisely when
arrangements might be announced, nor on the likely terms,"
Stratton said during the Macquarie Australia conference.
    The Australian government has already agreed to provide a
A$1.25 billion ($822 million) loan for the refinery through its
critical minerals facility.
