Australia's Imdex hits a near decade high on Datarock deal

** Shares of Imdex Ltd  IMD.AX  rise as much as 2.7% to
A$3.0
    ** The mining services provider enters into deal to buy
initial 30% interest in Datarock Holdings Pty Ltd A$5.5 million 
($4.03 million) in cash
    ** Shares hit highest since April 2012
    ** Datarock is an Australian-based mining technology co
servicing the global exploration and mining sector
    ** Deal enables Imdex to progressively increase its interest
to 100% over a 4-year period
    ** IMD shares have risen ~70% so far this year, as of last
close
