FISCAL COUNCIL
The Fiscal Council said that the Polish government's official economic forecasts for 2026-2030, which are to be used as the basis for the budget, are overly optimistic and incomplete, Puls Biznesu daily reported.
CRYPTOCURRENCIES
On Wednesday, the parliamentary public finance committee will consider four bills regulating the cryptocurrency market. These include two parliamentary bills and a proposal from the government and the president.
This will be the third attempt to regulate this market; two previous government bills were vetoed by President Karol Nawrocki.
DEBT
On Wednesday, the Polish Ministry of Finance will hold a bond tender worth 6.0-11.0 billion zlotys ($1.66 billion-$3.04 billion).
INPOST
Parcel locker company InPost INPST.AS, target of a takeover offer by a FedEx- and Advent-led consortium, reported first-quarter core profit ahead of market expectations on Wednesday, as growth in Poland and the euro zone helped offset the costs of integrating Yodel in Britain.
