Inpex says it is preparing new offer for striking Ichthys LNG workers SYDNEY, June 12 (Reuters) - Inpex said on Friday it was preparing an updated offer for workers at its Ichthys liquefied natural gas plant in northern Australia.
Hundreds of members of the Offshore Alliance union are on strike at the 9.3-million-metric-ton facility after talks over pay and conditions broke down.
"Inpex confirms it is continuing to engage in enterprise agreement negotiations in good faith and is committed to reaching an equitable and sustainable agreement with employees," the company said in a statement.
