Italy's Intermonte receives takeover bid from Banca Generali

MILAN, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Italian broker Intermonte
INTM.MI said on Monday it had received a takeover bid from
Banca Generali BGN.MI for all of its shares.
Intermonte's board will start soon to assess the bid, it
added, without providing further details.
