July 31 (Reuters) - British Airways owner IAG ICAG.L narrowly beat second-quarter profit estimates on Friday, but fell 16.3% from a year ago, weighed down by soaring fuel costs linked to the Iran war, and said it now expects capacity to be flat this year.
The carrier posted an operating profit of €1.41 billion ($1.62 billion) for the quarter, above the €1.37 billion forecast by analysts in a company-compiled poll.
