(the "Company") announces that on 4 July 2023 it purchased 600,000 ordinary shares of €0.10 each in the capital of the Company. All the shares purchased will be held as treasury shares and used for the purposes of satisfying awards under the IAG share-based incentive plans. Following the purchase, the Company holds 52,580,962 treasury shares and the Company's issued share capital (excluding shares held as treasury shares) consists of 4,918,895,048 shares. The Company's issued share capital is 4,971,476,010 shares. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company to the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
