** Commercial insurer and reinsurer late Wednesday declared an extraordinary dividend of 85 cents/shr for the period October 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024

** Extraordinary cash dividend is in addition to IGIC's regular common share dividend of 2.5 cents/shr

** All three brokerages covering the stock rate it "buy" or higher; median PT is $31.50, according to data compiled by LSEG

** IGIC stock up 13% YTD
