UK's Intertek rises after EQT tables fourth sweetened takeover proposal

** Shares of British product testing firm Intertek ITRK.L rise 4.92% to 5225p, top gainer on the FTSE 100 index .FTSE

** Sweden's EQT AB EQTAB.ST tabled sweetened 9.4 billion pound ($12.73 billion) proposal for co after three of its earlier bids were turned down

** EQT says ITRK shareholders will receive 60 pounds per share in cash and possible 1.1 pounds in fiscal 2025 dividend

** EQT has until May 14 to announce firm intention to make an offer for ITRK

** As of last close, ITRK up about 8% YTD while FTSE 100 grew 3.4%
