U.S. stocks rose on Tuesday as technology shares rebounded and a report said the
United States and China were trying to restart negotiations to defuse a trade
war between world's two largest economies.  .N 
    At 11:07 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 0.48 percent at
25,427.86. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.43 percent at 2,814.74 and the Nasdaq
