** Shares of Investigator Resources Ltd IVR.AX rise as much as 7.4% to A$0.029, hitting their highest level since June 20; last up 3.7% at A$0.028

** Diversified miner confirms the presence of silver resources in the Athena prospect within the Black Hill project in South Australia

** IVR operates Black Hill in a joint venture with privately-held miner Alliance Resources, via earn-in agreement

** Around 8.2 mln shares change hands, 1.3x the 30-day average volume

** Session brings YTD gains to 40%
