much as 8% to A$0.046, set for their worst day since Sept. 28,
if loses hold 
    ** Metal exploration co receives firm commitments to raise
A$4.2 mln ($2.87 mln) through a share placement
    ** Placement is at an issue price of 4.2 Australian cents
per share, a discount of 16% to stock's last close  
    ** Co's shares hits lowest since Nov. 4
    ** About 4.95 mln shares trade hands, compared with 30-day
average trading volume of 3.32 mln shares 
    ** Shares are down 28.6% YTD as of last close 
($1 = 1.4637 Australian dollars)
