Itech Minerals rises on rare-earths finds in S.Australia project

** Shares of mineral explorer Itech Minerals  ITM.AX  climb
as much as 9.1% to A$0.270, their highest since May 2
    ** Co achieves recoveries of up to 86% total rare-earths
oxides (TREO) in leaching trials at Caralue Bluff prospect in
South Australia
    ** Says the results suggest that the bulk of rare-earths
should be extractable and not bound within the structure of clay
particles
    ** Adds it is continuing to focus on graphite exploration
program at Lacroma prospect 
    ** As of last close, stock down 6.6% this year
