** Shares of Dublin-based drugmaker Iterum Therapeutics ITRM.O fall 71.59% to $0.05

** Co says it has asked a court in Ireland to wind up the company, and two liquidators have been appointed on a provisional basis

** Says the court will hear the case on April 13 and if the court agrees, the company would be liquidated and later dissolved

** Says it chose liquidation because of limited cash, an inability to raise fresh capital, failure to meet Nasdaq listing requirements and the lack of a sale or other strategic deal within the time available

** Says it may withdraw Orlynvah, its antibiotic for certain uncomplicated urinary tract infections in adult women with limited treatment options, from the U.S. market

** ITRM shares were down over 81% in 2025
