This notification is being made solely because, pursuant to a pre-existing loan linked to a hedging transaction, Liberty Global Incorporation Limited has loaned out 398,515,510 ordinary shares, but at the same time it has acquired an interest in an equal number of ordinary shares under that transaction as a result of the right to recall (subject to certain costs) granted to it in respect of 398,515,510 ordinary shares.
