** Shares of James Latham  LTHM.L  down as much as 6.6% at
1,210p 
    ** The distributor of timber, panels and decorative surfaces
says H1 pretax profit fell to 23.7 mln pounds ($28.9 mln) vs 34

    ** The second half of 2022/23 has started with slightly
weaker volumes than the previous six months until Sept 30, with
margins also slightly lower than in the same period - Co 
    ** H1 revenue up 9.7% at 193.9 mln pounds 
    ** Including session's losses, stock down ~5% YTD 
     ($1 = 0.8193 pounds)
