    * Japan Pure Chemical's parent-only net profit looks to have 
shrunk 20% on the year to a little over 300 million yen for 
first half ended Sept. 30 - Nikkei 
    * Japan Pure Chemical's sales apparently declined 20 percent 
to just under 4 billion yen for first half ended Sept. 30 - 
Nikkei 
    * Japan Pure Chemical's full-year net profit is seen at 
about 700 million yen, roughly flat on the year and below the 
830 million yen forecast- Nikkei
