** Co posts 35.8% rise in Q4 consol net profit to 919.8 million rupees ($9.55 million)

** Profit rises for the first time after nine straight quarters of decline

** Higher volumes and improved performance in co's packaging conversion business contributed to higher net profit, co says in an earnings statement

** More than 1.1 million shares change hands vs 30-day average of 349,265 shares

** YTD, stock up 8.8%
