** French utility EDF has postponed a plan to sell a stake in its Italian subsidiary Edison <EDNn.MI> to next year as the disruption to liquefied natural gas supplies due to the Iran conflict drags on, two sources with direct knowledge of the matter said.

** British chemicals company Johnson Matthey <JMAT.L> said it would buy Cormetech for $360 million, betting on growth in the U.S. power generation market on strong demand for emission control for data centres.

** CoStar Group <CSGP.O>, a commercial real estate data and listings company, is nearing a deal to acquire housing‑market data provider Zonda for nearly $800 million from private equity firm MidOcean Partners, according to two people familiar with the matter.
