In accordance with Rule 9.6.14 of the Listing Rules of the Financial Conduct
Authority, Johnson Matthey Plc (the "Company") announces that Mr Colin Matthews
CBE FREng, a non-executive director of the Company, has been appointed a
non-executive director of Shanks Group plc with effect from today and will be
appointed its non-executive chairman with effect from 1st April 2016.
