Transaction in own shares

 

Johnson Matthey Plc ("JM" or the "Company") announces today it has purchased
the following number of its ordinary shares of 110 (49)/(53) pence each from
Citigroup Global Markets Limited ("Citi") on the London Stock Exchange as part
of its buyback programme, commencement of which was announced on 21(st)
December 2021 (the "Programme").

 

 Date of purchase:                               22(nd) December 2021

 Aggregate number of ordinary shares purchased:  7,974

 Lowest price paid per share:                    £19.3750

 Highest price paid per share:                   £19.5850

 Average price paid per share:                   £19.4802

 

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.

 

Following the settlement of above purchases, the Company will hold 5,483,150
of its ordinary shares in treasury and will have 193,457,456 ordinary shares
in issue (excluding treasury shares).
