Board Appointment

Update on Board Committees

· Appointment of Ms. Tracey Kerr as independent non-executive director

· Formerly Group Head of Sustainable Development at Anglo American Plc

· Follows appointment of Ollie Oliveira as non-executive chairman in
May

· Reorganisation of Board committees

Jubilee Metals Group Plc, a leader in metals processing with operations in
Africa (AIM: JLP/AltX: JBL), is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms.
Tracey Kerr as independent non-executive director of the Company with
immediate effect. The appointment of Ms. Kerr is part of the Company's global
expansion strategy.

Tracey was most recently Group Head of Sustainable Development (Sept 2020 to
April 2021) at Anglo American Plc, having previously also been accountable for
safety, operational risk management and sustainable development across the
Anglo-American group (Jan 2016 to August 2020).

Tracey is a geologist by background having overseen global exploration
programmes at a number of large multinational corporates, including Anglo
American Plc, where she held the position of Group Head of Exploration across
Anglo's exploration activities in 15 countries. Prior to this Ms Kerr oversaw
exploration activities in the Americas for Vale S.A., the Brazilian
multinational corporation engaged in metals and mining and one of the largest
logistics operators in Brazil.

Tracey, based in the UK, is currently a non-executive director of Hochschild
Mining PLC, a FTSE 250 precious metal mining company with mines and
development projects in the Americas. At Hochschild, Tracey is Chair of the
Sustainability Committee and a member of the Remuneration and Nomination
Committees. Tracey also participates in Hochschild's Exploration Working Group
and is the designated director for employee engagement. Until recently, Tracey
served as a non-executive Director of Polymetal International Plc, a previous
constituent of the FTSE 100, where she also chaired the Safety and
Sustainability Committee and was a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.

With Tracey's experience in sustainable development and safety and given the
importance Jubilee places on upholding the highest standards of
sustainability, in particular ensuring a positive impact on the environment by
reducing historical mine waste, a new Safety and Sustainability Committee (the
'Committee') will be formed, chaired by Ms Kerr with Leon Coetzer, Group CEO,
and Dr Evan Kirby, Technical Director, as members. The Committee will have
oversight of the management of safety and sustainability matters, including
the relevant systems and processes, focussing on those which it considers to
be most potentially material from time to time. These include strategies
designed to manage the likes of safety, health, the environment, tailings
facility management, social and community impact management and socio-economic
development, socio-political issues and supply chain. The Committee's mandate
is to monitor the Company's overall approach to sustainability. Specifically,
the Committee's role is intended to promote ethical, transparent and
responsible behaviour by the Company with meaningful engagement with its
stakeholders and communities. On issues and matters pertaining to "Governance"
and "Social" as it relates to ESG (environmental, social and governance)
strategy and disclosure, the Committee will take a coordinated approach with
the Audit and Risk Committee.

Tracey is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy
AUSIMM and is a member of the Society of Economic Geologists, the Society of
Exploration Geophysicists and the Institute of Directors.

Leon Coetzer, CEO, commented:

"I welcome Tracey to the board of Jubilee and look forward to working closely
with her as we continue to build on our recent period of operational and
financial growth as the roll-out of our global metals processing strategy
continues. Tracey's background in sustainability, safety and geology will be
of enormous value to Jubilee as we continue our journey and further implement
our sustainability initiatives."

Further to the appointment of Ollie Oliveira as non-executive chairman, as
announced in May 2022, Mr Oliveira is also appointed as member of the Audit
and Risk Committee, chaired by Nicholas Taylor, independent non-executive
director with Chris Molefe, non-executive director, also as member.

The Remuneration committee will, going forward be chaired by Dr Mathews Phosa,
