Australia's Kalina soars to near 3-year high as Alberta deal unlocks bonus

** Shares of clean power technology firm Kalina Power KPO.AX advance 21.43% to A$0.017, to hit its highest since early December 2022

** Stock set for its strongest session since July 7

** Co's Canadian unit says Greenlight Electricity Centre's customer has signed a transmission deal with grid operator Alberta Electrical System Operator, clearing the way for a transfer agreement

** The unit collected C$1 mln ($716,178.47) non-refundable deposit in June under the deal, and is now eligible for a further C$17 million bonus due within 15 days

** Over 25 mln shares change hands, 18x 30-day avg

** Stock has gained 68.4% YTD
