Sherwin-Williams gains on profit beat

** Shares of paintmaker Sherwin-Williams SHW.N rise 5.5% to $354.82 premarket

** Co posts adjusted profit of $3.59 per share vs analysts' estimates of $3.44 per share - data compiled by LSEG

** Total net sales rise to $6.35 billion from last year's $6.16 billion

** Sales at its Paint Stores Group rise 5.1% to $3.83 billion

** Its Performance Coatings Group unit posts net sales of $1.75 billion, up 1.7% from last year

** Narrows full-year guidance to  range of $11.25 to $11.45 per share, compared with its previous outlook of between $11.20 and $11.50

** Up to last close stock down 1.1% YTD
