Colfax, XPO Logistics rise on joining S&P Midcap 400

** Colfax Corp  CFX.N  and XPO Logistics Inc  XPO.N  rise in
extended hours on news they will join S&P Midcap 400 Index
 .IDX  on March 18 before markets open
    ** Colfax up about 4.7 pct at $27.40; XPO Logistics up about
3.6 pct at $47.85
    ** CFX to replace Big Lots Inc  BIG.N  in S&P Midcap 400
while XPO replaces Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc  DO.N 
    ** BIG, DO have market caps "more representative of the
small-cap market space" S&P Dow Jones Indices said in a

    ** Both BIG and DO will join S&P SmallCap 600  .SPCY ,
replacing near-bottom placed Maiden Holdings Ltd  MHLD.O  and
Quorum Health Corp  QHC.N 
    ** Up to Friday's close, Colfax shares had gained nearly a
quarter in value YTD; XPO had lost ~19 pct over same period
