Operations Update
Kodal Minerals (AIM: KOD), the West African lithium producer and mineral
exploration and development company, notes the recent press speculation
concerning security developments in and around the capital of Bamako.
At present, operations at the Bougouni Lithium Project in Southern Mali
("Bougouni Project" or "Project"), which is located circa 180km from Bamako,
continue to run as usual. We recently successfully commenced trucking of our
spodumene concentrate product to the port of San Pedro in Cote d'Ivoire
carried out by a Malian transportation contractor. So far, just over 10,000t
of spodumene concentrate has been transported to the port ready for shipping
with more trucks arriving daily.
In addition, management are currently on site for a scheduled presidential
inauguration of the Bougouni Project.
