India's Kwality Wall's rises after strong quarterly results

** Shares of Kwality Wall's  KWAI.NS , the recently listed ice
cream company separated from Hindustan Unilever, gain 7.5% to
38.69 rupees
    ** June-qtr profit rises 34.8%; total income up 16.2%
    ** Co says it "maintained  a  competitive  pricing  strategy
 while  navigating commodity headwinds,"
    ** "Investments in capabilities and strategic growth
priorities may keep the cost base elevated in the near term,"
Kwality Wall's adds  
    ** Including session's gains, stock up 39.5% since its 16
Feb IPO
