** Shares of battery minerals co Lithium Energy  LEL.AX 
climb as much as 9.6% to A$1.260, their highest since May 30
    ** Co says drilling has commenced at its flagship Solaroz

    ** Says the drilling programme will initially comprise 10
holes for about 5,000 metres across co's land holding 
    ** Adds drilling objective is to define maiden mineral
resource estimate of lithium at Solaroz

    ** As of last close, stock up 23.7% this year
