French antitrust agency fines 12 household appliance companies €611 mln for price-fixing
PARIS, Dec 19 (Reuters) - The French antitrust authority
said on Thursday that it had fined 12 household appliance makers
and distributors, including Electrolux ELUXb.ST , Whirlpool
WHR.N and LG 003550.KS , 611 million euros ($634.83 million)
for price-fixing between 2007 and 2014.
Ten of the 12 companies did not contest the facts alleged.
Representatives for Electrolux, Whirlpool and LG did not
immediately respond to requests for comment.
