** Shares of Australia's Lindian Resources LIN.AX rise as much as 7.1% to A$0.375, biggest intraday pct gain since November 28

** Diversified miner says it improved the Kangankunde Rare Earths project in Malawi's design to increase ore processing capacity by 25%

** The increase in ore processing capacity will increase production to 20,000tpa of Monazite Concentrate from 15,300 tonnes per annum (tpa) currently from the project - LIN

** Stock has surged 374.4% this year, including session moves
