OSLO, March 24 (Reuters) - An underwater power link between
Sweden and Lithuania will be out of service until April 8,
longer than previously expected, Sweden's power grid operator
said on Thursday.
The 700-megawatt (MW) link went offline on March 18 due to
an unexpected outage, resulting in a jump in power prices in
Lithuania.
The Baltic states meets about 70-80 percent of its
electricity needs with imports, the highest share in the
European Union.
