** Shares of Lithium Plus Minerals  LPM.AX  rise as much as
19.1% to A$0.125; set to gain most since March 1, if current
gains hold
    ** The lithium company signs MOU for spodumene offtake
agreement with Canmax Technologies  300390.SZ  from Lei Deposit
at the 100% owned Bynoe Lithium Project near Darwin in the
Northern Territory, Australia
    ** Stock hits its highest level since April 30
    ** 1.7 mln shares change hands, compared with the 30-day
average volume of 141,482
    ** Stock has fallen over 70% this year, as of last close
