** Shares of Locksley Resources  LKY.AX  rise as much as
12.5% to A$0.054, set for best day since June 15, if gains hold
    ** Mineral explorer says surface sampling programme achieved
high-grade assays for rare-earths at Mojave project area in the
U.S.
    ** A total of 171 rock-chip samples have been assayed for a
full suite of elements by American Analytical Services (AAS)
    ** Stock hits highest level since Aug 29
    ** Stock down 18.3% YTD, as of last close
