** Shares of hedge fund Man Group EMG.L up 3.3% at 347.6 pence
** Company's assets under management up 6.8% from three months ago to record $270.9 billion as of September 30, beating market expectations 
** Broker Citi says overall analyst consensus was for assets under management to reach $263 billion in Q3 
** EMG up ~47% this year, as of last close
