Australia's Manuka Resources slides most in a month on discounted placement

** Shares of Manuka Resources  MKR.AX  fall as much as 13%
to A$0.080, their worst intraday loss since March 17 
    ** Says it raised A$2.4 million in a private placement over
two tranches 
    ** Two tranches of shares issued at A$0.0613 each and
A$0.0645 each, representing discounts of 33.4% and 29.9% to the
shares' last closing price of A$0.092
    ** Stock hits lowest level since April 11
    ** YTD, stock up 8.2% as of last close
