** Manulife Financial and Mahindra & Mahindra agree to establish a 50:50 life insurance joint venture in India

** Total capital commitment from each shareholder is up to $400 million, and expect each shareholder to invest $140 million in the first five years

** Up to last close, stock up 14.5%, YTD
