Spain's Mapfre profit jumps on improved performance worldwide
By Mireia Merino Oct 31 (Reuters) - Spanish insurer Mapfre MAP.MC said on Friday its net profit rose 26.8% in the first nine months of the year boosted by a strong performance across all regions and business lines. Its net profit increased to 829 million euros ($966.78 million) from 654 million euros a year earlier, the company said.
