Australia's Marmota jumps on entering JV to grow gold resources

** Shares of mineral explorer Marmota  MEU.AX  rise as much
as 2.3% to A$0.044
    ** Co says that via its fully-owned subsidiary, it has
entered into the new golden moon joint venture with Coombedown
Resources
    ** Says JV is to "substantially grow the size of the gold
resources in the JV tenements, and develop them to production"
    ** About 1.1 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 944,070 shares
    ** Stock unchanged this year, as of last close
