** Shares of Maximus Resources Ltd  MXR.AX  gain as much as
10% to A$0.044, set for their best day since May 1, if trend
holds
    ** The minerals explorer says drilling has identified
elevated rare earth element at its Jilbadji prospect in Western
Australia
    ** Co says large area at the project is still unexplored 
with potential of discovering substantial rare earth elements
    ** Stock is flat YTD, as of last close
