** Shares of Allup Silica  APS.AX  up 16.7% at A$0.056, set
for best day since June 27, if gains hold
    ** Silica exploration co says drilling confirms presence of
clay-hosted rare earth oxides at its Pink Bark project in
Western Australia 
    ** Stock at its highest level since Sept. 6
    ** Stock down 46.7% YTD, as of last close
